An EZ-100G easyWISP controller is installed at each PtMP radio site, or multi-subscriber site, such as a multi-dwelling building or a business office building with several subscribers. Each site is then connected to the Internet by the most efficient backhaul method. This might be via a landline, a DSL, or a point-to-point wireless link.
Each EZ-100G easyWISP controller authenticates subscribers through to the Internet, based on the subscriber authentication rules that are passed to the controller from the cloud4WISP system. The easyWISP controller also monitors the subscriber links for failure and issues a work order to the field service technician when a failure occurs.
Autonomous operation: cloud4WISP interactions are required only for subscriber updates, data logging, configuration changes and failure alerting

Subscriber management via the authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) engine in conjunction with downloaded subscriber credentials

Monitoring PtMP radios, subscriber radios and subscriber links for failure, and passing failure information to cloud4WISP, in addition generating a trouble ticket for the network supervisor/field service tech
Quality of service (QoS) filtering that includes protocol traffic control, website black/white list, content filtering and MAC filtering
Multi-tier management of the subscriber download/upload speeds and other criteria set for each subscriber
Backhaul bandwidth sharing based on the Contention Ratio chosen by the WISP
